Games with more Achievements sell better.

Uh...do achievments actually have any kind of significance? I mean, they just make some number on your gamercard go up.

Honestly though, I really don't think anyone would have any problem figuring out what an achievment is, unless they're like 3. :P
 
The average gamer is in his late 20's. Not kids under 10. The 360 isn't for the kids. It's for the hardcore gamer. Hardcore gamers like competition. Achievements add to the competition. That's why games with more achievements sell better in a nutshell.
