Game Prices - Do you respect cheaper games less?

I know that when I find good deals, I tend to buy games in bulk. I find myself bouncing back and forth between the games I bought... but when I buy in bulk... the games seem to get less attention and I seem to have less interest er game when I buy in bulk. I can't seem to keep concentrated on 1 game.... UNLESS it is a mind blowing game. Then the other games are left in the dirt so-to-speak.

When I buy 1 game at full price, I tend to get more time out of it and concentate more on the game. This could be a bit skewed though. IE - I bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at full price. I would get more out of that than Army of Two bought at a discount because COD: MW2 has a lot more to the game (IMO). Make sense?

Does this happen to anyone else?

Is it a deal of cheaper games, games bought in bulk, or both?

POST IT UP and discuss!!

Not really. Lately I've only been buying games if they're on sale. MW2 seems to be the last game I've gotten at full price and I kind of stopped playing that after I finished the campaign. If I buy more games at lower prices I tend to play more in my case. Since I have more variety.

Well, when I have the money to buy more than one game, I play whichever one I think I'll like more first.
For example, I bought Wind Waker and TFU on the same day (For under $40) and played through WW before I even opened TFU.
Now, when I buy games in a series, like how I bought the MGS1-3 the other day, I play through them in order. But all my games get the same amount of attention, until I finish them anyway.

Not at all.I believe the price of a game has nothing to do with how good it is.

Godspeed.

Another great example I thought of, Mad World, that's a great game. But I think it's $7 on Amazon. Amazing game, low price. Get it.

Heh, I thought Madworld was great and I paid full price for it when it was released :3

Anyway I don't think so, I bought Yakuza 2 which was released here for like $30 and I love it, alot better than the first. :p

Cheap games can be a hit or miss. However, I love the results of great games when they rich rock bottom prices. Which adds more fun for me and the rest of my friends!

Cheap games are good, but if you buy multiple games at a time, then your attention is split.

For example; after Christmas Steam had both Torchlight and Star Wars Commando on sale. I got both, but spent more time playing Star Wars Commando. I figured I'd get both since they were $4.99 games that I had been looking to get anyhow. But, in buying them both, SWC got neglected so I could play more Torchlight.

I so agree with that. It's like me with rpg's.It's nice having a few for variety, but I must devote my time to one at a time otherwise I can't be as thorough with a fresh memory of the current one I'm playing. When I beat FF VIII I played no other rpg at the same time. When it comes to rpg's I am very thorough and driven to complete every side quest, max out my party's levelage, etc. This excludes some of the 100% completion crap.

Yeah, that's how it is for me. I got several games for cheap at Walmart when they went on clearance, and I have barely played them.

Wait, which did you play more? I'm a bit confused, haha. In one sentence you said it was Star Wars: Republic Commando, and but the next you said you played more Torchlight. :lol Or am I totally misunderstanding this post?
