Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn hype thread!

Well I mean..you always quote them. I had to tell you to stop a couple times before. =P

I wonder what the metareview for this game is like?
 
oook many people told me before to not trust IGN now i belive them.....no different from the gamecube game? are you kidding me?.....geez it might not have a superficial difference but if you go deep into the game of course is different (more units/upgrades, different support conversations, SAVE THE GAME DURING MISSIONS, game divided into 4 parts each with their own main character).....if they don't give this game a 9.0 because it doesn't have motion controls i swear i'm gonna hate them.

correction NOW i hate them... (i didn't read the review before posting this) geez not having motion controls is not the end of the world even moving the unis with the pointer would be a little akward if you think about it.....please somebody tell me another web page for reviews and news because i'm not coming back to this one (the reason i am sooo mad is because naruto clash of ninja revolution is the same thing as the gamecube one BUT WITH MOTION CONTROLERS, and they still gave it more points than fire emblem)
 
That's true. They could have done a better job with the graphics (the Wii's alot more powerful than this game gives off), but they weren't shooting for a pretty game. They were shooting for a game that pleased the fans, and it looks like this will do certainly just that.
 
I finally got around to playing this last night, and so far it's cool. I used my save data from the GC game, so I can't wait until I get those characters; they're going to be wicked awesome.

Graphics are kind of weak as most reviews have said, but the music and stuff is wonderful.

Edited to add: So far it's also wicked hard, even on normal mode.
 
Uh, yeah, if you expect to understand this one, it helps to play the GCN one first.
 
I played the GCN version up to the chapter with the watergates, then sold it.
 
i don't know something is bugging me about this game (maybe is the huge difference between reviews, some gave it a 6 ,some an 8 and others a 9) i want it but i'm not sure if i'll like the story or become really frustrated by his difficulty (screw the graphics, and the no waggle) i mean i thought hard mode in path of radiance was easy... but as mai said normal on this one is like hard on PoR so I don't know i'm having doubts :-[

could somebody that has the game would tell me if it's worth it or not ??? (it's a shame that i have to ask this)
 
i just finished part 1... the last lvl was a bit of a dissapointment it was not as hard as it should have been (maybe because certain characters were really useful but i'm not gonna spoil)
 
I think im gonna have to switch the difficulty. I havent had to do this since MGS2 :P
