Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion

Re: oblivion.....

Yea...it went towards a car. But one of my friends dropped out of school and sits at home playing WoW all the time. He makes more than teachers do by selling his characters. I couldn't even begin to guess how many level 60's that he has. It's crazy.

Re: oblivion.....

wow.

I have never done anything like this. How do you sell a character online? Wouldnt you have to give up your account?

Re: oblivion.....

Yea, you just treat it like a normal sell on Ebay. They would just send you the money and you would give them the password and what not to get your account. But now Galaxies has gotten extremly easy. Back when I played, before the Epi III extension, if you wanted to be a jedi you had to spend 200+ hours or so doing things before you could even before Force aware. But now, you can automatically be one. That's why mine sold for so much. Not too many jedi. I used to sell credits all the time for a quick $50-100.

Re: oblivion.....

Yup. I had Morrowind for Xbox and PC.
The reason I didnt play for 25+ hours like everyone else is mainly because it was just too big.
I would get bored walking everywhere

Re: oblivion.....

Yea. In Oblivion you can just fast travel. You can also just steal horses if you don't feel like buying them. You can also buy a house in each town in Oblivion.

Re: oblivion.....

See, thats why I think this game is for me.
What character are you?

I like to be a warrior but I like to have some thief characteristics.

Ok quick question. Im pretty sure there is a map on the screen. Does it tell you where things are such as quests? I know that in Morrowind there wasnt any feature like this.

Also is there a way to travel like Guild Wars? Or do you walk everywhere like in Morrowind?

You select a quest and it tells you where the quest is. There is a map in the status menu thingy.

You can fast travel to any key locations such as the major cities, or to any place you have already been to.

If you are traveling to any major city you can just go over the place with your cursor and hit A for fast travel. If it's somewhere in the wilderness and you haven't been there, then no, you can't fast travel there.

Quick question. I went to the Arena and it said it was only open from 9am to 9pm. How does the clock work in the game?

it says it when you go to the menu, or you can press "back" for the wait thing and it tells you what time it is
