Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion

Re: oblivion.....

For the Skeleton Key, go to the eastern gate of Leyawiin. Follow the road until you find the Daedric shrine of Nocturne. Do that quest, and voila.

Re: oblivion.....

Dude, Oblivion is way too addicting. Oblivion is the reason why I haven't been online in forever. On my days off from work I just stay home and play. :lol I'm about level 13 right now and currently in the Fighter's Guild, with about 12 missions complete.

I cant wait to try this game out. I watched the game review on Gamespot and it looked pretty intense. I wish I had a 360 to play it on...

Re: oblivion.....

I love it. Its really hard to pry yourself away from it. Right now I'm level 30-something, Arch-mage of the Mage's Guild, Guildmaster of the Fighter's Guild and Arena Champion.

haha thats cool.

I remember playing Morrowind and doing missions for all the guilds

Re: oblivion.....

There's so many guilds and clans in Morrowind it's crazy, I believe over 14 in total. I was kinda bummed to here Oblivion cut out quite a few guilds from MW but w/e, just as long as they have depth to the guilds it's cool. I can't wait to start my first character, I'm thinking something like a priest or bard would be a nice change from my usual stealthy/archer type chars....or maybe a straight up hunter/barbarian Nord would be cool...choices, choices... What race/character type do you all like? I was fond of Dark elves, Bretons and Nords in MW.

Re: oblivion.....

yeah i usually choose warriors. I made a new character in morrowind and started as a dark elf. I like being a thief, its fun. lol

Re: oblivion.....

My character is a Khajiit with assassin skills like Sneak and Marksman. It's kind of funny though since I actually haven't joined either the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood yet. I'm in the Fighter's Guild. I'm at level 19 with about 24 completed missions and 22 active missions.

Re: oblivion.....

What does everyone else have?

This will probably be the first 360 game I get if I buy one.

Re: oblivion.....

I have Oblivion, and I am also a huge fan of FF and what not. I would say that Oblivion takes the cake. By far. I did play Elder Scrolls III, but wasn't too impressed with it. Between my two characters, I've put in an easy 300 hours...Lol. Great game. Best out for the 360.

Re: oblivion.....

Wow thats a lot of hours. Yeah Im definitely getting Oblivion if I get a 360.

Has anyone played Morrowind and Oblivion??? Can you compare them for me.

Re: oblivion.....

Morrowind's graphics are about as bad as it gets. Lol. And if you are wanting to compare, you can't. Oblivion beats Morrow Wind in every category. One little easter egg is that in Oblivion, there is a character from Morrowind that tells you what goes on after the MW game...it's kind of cool. But if I were to choose one game to play for the rest of this year...you guessed it. I mean, when I first got the game, I completly put the main quest off to the side and immediatly was caught up in 5-10 quests, just within the first 15-20 minutes of playing. The people in Oblivion actually have schedules and live thier lifes, go to bed at times, wake up. It's the most realistic game that I've ever come across. And the graphics on HD are incrediable. Well worth $60 and your time.

You lack the assassin's guild being The Listener. Lol.

Re: oblivion.....

Could you imagine if they made an Elder Scrolls game MMORPG?
you wouldnt be able to tell who is AI and who is a player.. lol

Re: oblivion.....

It would be the best MMO ever. I used to play Star Wars Galaxies for 4 years and that game was great. I sold my character for a little under $1500 on Ebay. But I would say that Oblivion would just dominate every MMO ever made.
