Looksley's Line Up (500pts - Nintendo) – Well, Nintendo of America didn't waste much time localising this 3D game from Japan. If you want to see the game in action you can check out our preview of the Japanese release; otherwise rest assured that we'll be reviewing it soon.

Frogger Returns (500pts - Konami) – A handheld version of the WiiWare game released last year. We'll be sure to review it soon, but to get an idea of what's on offer you can read the Frogger Returns review for WiiWare, presently.

A Topsy Turvy Life: Turvy Drops (200pts - Tecmo Koei Games) – One of a couple of Tecmo games released for the DSi early this year in Japan where you play with the DSi held upside-down. This is a rather interesting puzzle game and given the main title, we expect to see the companion upside-down shooting game soon. Until our review is ready you can get a feel for what this game is all about by reading our preview of the Japanese release.

Flips: More Bloody Horowitz (200pts - Electronic Arts) – The latest entry in a series of e-books for teens featuring interactive sections. This is a collection of three horror stories from the author of the Alex Rider series of spy novels.


Nice choices! Frogger and Topsy Turvy look fun :) However, I am a sucker for e-books..of the Horror genre. ::D
 
Metal Torrent (500pts – Nintendo) – Nintendo dips its toes into the bullet-hell shooting arena via developer Arika's latest DSiWare game. This has been out in Japan for a while and was published in Europe earlier this month. Read our Metal Torrent review to find out what we think of it.

World Poker Tour: Texas Hold 'Em (500pts - Hands-On Mobile) – Apparently you cannot have too many card games for your DSi, especially this one variant of poker which seems to be the sole poker game people would want to play on their Nintendo handheld or console given that it's the only one represented. If you and five of your friends buy this game you can all play together courtesy of built-in support for local wireless play. We'll be bringing you a review soon.

Real Crimes: Jack the Ripper (800pts - Virtual Playground) – Finding hidden objects seems to be a fairly popular pastime on the DSi, though this one is different from others by engaging you in a mystery to discover the "true identity" of Jack the Ripper! We'll find out if the experience warrants the premium pricetag in an upcoming review.

Advanced Circuits (200pts - BiP Media) – Based on the description this budget puzzle game sounds like a spin on the venerable 8-bit computer and arcade game Pipe Mania. We'll put it through its paces and let you know if it's worthy to be in the same company as its inspiration.

X-Scape (800pts - Nintendo) — A sequel to game that was released on the Gameboy a million years ago called "X," complete with slick retro two-tone 3D graphics. Since it's from Q Games we know there's going to be a lot of people interested in this one, so we'll try to get a review online soon.

Hero of Sparta (800pts - Gameloft) — This action/fighting game was just released last week in Europe, so you can expect our review soon.

A Topsy Turvy Life: The Turvys Strike Back (200pts - Tecmo-Koei) — The second upside-down DSi game from Tecmo-Koei, this is essentially Star Force only the player controls the enemy ships on a mission to destroy the Earth Defence Force, which can be played by a second player for two-player action on one DSi. Until we get a review up, you can find out more about this game by reading our preview of the Japanese version.

Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro (200pts - Sanuk Games) — Though there may seem to be enough sudoku games on DSiWare already, the Telegraph begs to differ. On the plus side there's multiple game modes, including an additional game called kakuro. We'll let you know if that's enough to warrant a buy for newspaper puzzle fans.

Flametail (500pts - Nintendo) -- Originally featured as the "square" game in MaBoShi, Flametail expands the gameplay centred around touching blocks to burn them up by adding power-ups and different modes of play. We'll work on getting a review up right away, but in the meantime read our preview of the Japanese release from January to get an idea of what this game is all about.

Don't Cross the Line (200pts - Aksys Games) -- A new puzzle game from Aksys which appears to revolve around drawing lines to connect boxes that compose an image. This title was originally released last November in Japan with a decidedly lengthier title. We'll get a review up soon!

Fire Panic (200pts - Playtainment) -- An action puzzle game based around putting out fires. This was released recently in Europe and we felt the difficulty of the game didn't do it any favours. Read our Fire Panic review to get the whole story.

Flips: The Magic Faraway Tree (500pts - Electronic Arts) -- Another interactive e-book from Electronic Arts, this one is part of a series of Flips based on the stories of author Enid Blyton. You can find out what we thought of it in our Flips: The Magic Faraway Tree review.

A Kappa's Trail (500 Points - Nintendo) We previewed A Kappa's Trail in its Japanese form and were impressed with the amount of content included for the price, so we'll see how it's made the transition across to the West with a review in the near future.

Telegraph Crosswords (500 Points - Sanuk Games) It's interesting to see this one getting a T for Teen rating due to "Drug Reference, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes." We reckon it's worth checking out if you want a decent crosswords game, so check out our review of Telegraph Crosswords.

Flips: Silent but Deadly (500 Points - Electronic Arts) Another in EA's series of virtual books, this is a tale of teachers, pupils and gas clouds that change shape at will. Read our Flips: Silent but Deadly review to see how this one stacks up.

Music On: Electronic Keyboard (200 Points - Abylight) A portable take on the musical keyboard, Music On: Electronic Keyboard offers a range of voices, styles and a built-in recorder. We've reviewed the European version and found it to be decent but limited: check out our Music On: Electronic Keyboard review to see why.

16 Shot! Shooting Watch (200 Points - Hudson) A digital version of a real-life tool used by Hudson's Takahashi Meijin, this little device lets you see how many times you can tap a button in a set length of time, aiming to beat Meijin's record of sixteen taps per second. With graphs and leaderboards this one could be more interesting than it sounds, so check back for our review in the coming days.

Spin Six (Nintendo, 500 Points) – A puzzle game in which you rotate numbered panels to line them up and make them disappear. Sounds like Bejeweled with math, a potentially terrifying experience for the Liberal Arts crowd.

Puffins: Let's Fish! (Other Ocean Interactive, 500 Points) – The Puffins are back after their roll-a-thon and apparently hungry for capelin. Hopefully this one is more majestic-catch-hooray and less sad-dolphin-caught-in-net.

Mega Words (Digital Leisure, 500 Points) – Hundreds of puzzles worth of word scrambles, anagrams and Hangman make up this package to potentially soothe those frightened by Spin Six.

Super Swap (Teyon, 500 Points) – We have to hand it to Teyon; they write the best press releases. This block-swapping match-three puzzler promises "plenty of twists and never-before-seen game play" that has "so much fast and furious puzzling fun, you'll never want to stop the swapping!" Your move, PopCap.

Legendary Wars: T-Rex Rumble (Interplay, 800 Points) – Humans vs. dinosaurs face off in this historically inaccurate real-time strategy game where you must save the fate of mankind.
 
June 28th.

* Maestro! Green Groove (Neko Entertainment, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): A musical platformer in which you strum on-screen strings to make a little bird jump between them.
* Date or Ditch (Gameloft, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): A "dating adventure" in which you go on several dates and attempt to successfully converse with your counterparts.
* Animal Color Cross (Little Worlds Studio, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): A picross game about reconstructing pictures of animals.
* Brain Drain (Enjoy Gaming, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Unscramble a puzzle by rotating the pieces with the stylus.
* Battle of Giants: Mutant Insects - Revenge (Publisher, player, DSi Points): Free the Scorpion Champion from the clutches of the Mutant Queen, so other ... giant insects can live in peace.
* Ancient Tribe (Circle Entertainment, 1 player, 500 DSi Points): Use your powers as a god to lead a tribe of people through history. And to help them tame and ride dinosaurs, because who doesn't want to ride a dinosaur?

QuickPick Farmer (Dancing Dots, 200 Points) — Sort your sheep as fast as you can into bins in order to then catapult wool into barns across a field where a big bad wolf is lurking. Sounds perfectly reasonable! A review is forthcoming, but be sure to check out our interview with Dancing Dots in the meantime.

Soul of Darkness (Gameloft, 500 Points) — Another cell phone port from Gameloft. Explore caves, castles and cathedrals as you hope to rescue your beloved from the clutches of a mean ol' vampire. Can it out-vamp Castlevania? Well, probably not, but we'll let you know.

SteamWorld Tower Defense (Image & Form, 500 Points) — It's robots versus humans in this tower defense title with a steampunk theme set in the West. Certainly a sparsely populated combination! We'll let you know how it stacks up against the rest of DSiWare's tower defense offerings.

101 Shark Pets (Teyon, 500 Points) — A pet simulator with the cuddliest of all sea creatures. Teach your shark tricks, rub its belly and enter it in pet contests, which surely won't scare the bejeebus out of the other contestants.

Hello Flowerz (Enjoy Gaming, 500 Points) — A gardening game that asks you to tune in daily to keep your beds in order. We found it pretty decent, if a bit dull, in our Hello Flowerz review.

Flips: The Folk of the Faraway Tree (EA, 500 Points) — The Flips series of interactive books marches on with the help of Enid Blyton and her Faraway Tree. Be sure to read up on our Flips: The Folk of the Faraway Tree review before taking the plunge.

Primrose (200pts - Sabarasa) – This relaxing puzzle game offers freeform elements as you match tiles with no time limits or ultimate aim other than to enjoy yourself doing so. Sabarasa certainly has form on DSiWare with Save the Turtles under its belt, so it'll be interesting to see how Primrose stacks up. We'll bring you our verdict in a review shortly.

Pop Island – Paperfield (200 pts - odenis studio) – The second outing for odenis's Pop Island characters after the successful Pop Island, this offers more of the same silky smooth capture the flag racing, with new maps and vehicles. DS Download Play for up to eight players and extra content unlocked if you own Pop Island on your Nintendo DSi system make this a promising-sounding package at just 200 Points. We'll let you know the verdict soon.

Music on: Retro Keyboard (200pts - Abylight) – The old-school follow-up to Abylight's Music On: Electronic Keyboard, Retro Keyboard aims to take gamers back to the age when a great soundtrack was four channels of indeterminate blips. With the same feature set as its predecessor but a higher fun factor for gamers, read our Music On: Retro Keyboard review for the full scoop.

24/7 Solitaire (500pts - Cosmigo) – It just wouldn't be a DSiWare download without at least one card or Sudoku game, would it? This is one of the better entries on the service though, as our 24/7 Solitaire review explains.

Face Pilot: Fly With Your Nintendo DSi Camera! (Nintendo, 500pts) – Boasting a name so descriptive it almost makes this write-up unnecessary, Face Pilot is a hang gliding game where you use your DSi's internal camera to manoeuvre. Have a read of our Face Pilot: Fly With Your Nintendo DSi Camera!

Crystal Monsters (Gameloft, 500pts) – This action adventure title from Gameloft is, you guessed it, a conversion of an old mobile title. Released as Monster Chronicles in Japan only, it's a game where you explore dungeons to catch 160 monsters of varying skills and elements, which certainly sounds ambitious for a 500 Point download title.

Puffins: Let's Race! (Other Ocean Interactive, 500pts) – Another outing for those popular puffins, this one takes the form of a racing game with various courses, opponents, power-ups and four-player local play.

Petz Hamsterz Family (Ubisoft, 800pts) – More cutezy petz from the folks at Ubisoft, this one is hot on the tiny furry heels of Petz Kittens, which promised much but didn't deliver.

Absolute BrickBuster (Tasuke, 200pts) – The description says "classic brick game action is here on the Nintendo DSi system", and although some would argue it has been since the release of AlphaBounce it's always good to hear a second opinion. Absolute BrickBuster offers up ten stages, multiple power-ups and a Challenge Mode.
 
Dude, what site are you getting this from? I always see 'We'll do a review or something blahblahblah....' I mean, I'm kinda curious about these reviews. :lol

Match Up! (Digital Leisure, 200 Points) — The second DSiWare game to feature Professor Lexis, this time around it looks like he wants to play a Memory-type game. Hopefully the unsettling death animations like in Mega Words are kept to a minimum, but this one has exploding cards so who knows.

BlayzBloo: Super Melee Action Battle Royale (Aksys Games, 500 Points) — Arc System Works' praised 2D arcade fighter goes portable, chibi and 3D for DSiWare. The service is pretty thin on fighters apart from the odd round of Photo Dojo, so we'll punch things in the face for a while and let you know how it is. Then we'll go play some BlayzBloo for review.

Hints Hunter (CIRCLE Entertainment, 500 Points) — You don't actually hunt hints in this one, but there should be plenty to go around in your quest for hidden keys. Why, the press release blurb even contains two hints!

Petz Dogz Family (Ubizoft, 800 Pointz) — The Petz seriez rollz on with itz third outing on DZiWare. We'll have a full review up zoon enough, but you can probably deduce whether thiz one iz for you by checking out our reviewz for Petz Kittens and Petz Hamsterz Family.

TURN: The Lost Artifact (800pts, Creative Patterns) – A puzzle game that asks you to rotate the room to solve a series of mindbenders, we'll see if this is intriguing enough to enter the DSiWare puzzle pantheon in our upcoming review.

Absolute Chess (200pts, Tasuke) – Following the release of its disappointing Absolute Brickbuster, Tasuke is taking on another much-loved pastime: chess. With a challenge mode, learning aids including showing available moves and DS Download Play, read our upcoming review to see if this is checkmate or a rooking disaster.

Did It Myself ABC123 (200pts, Powerhead Games) – The last thing most people expected from the creators of Glow Artisan was a release aimed at pre-school children, but that's exactly what this is. Full of the things that kids love – apart from screaming and soiling themselves – this could be a worthwhile buy for DSi-owning 2-year olds or their parents. Find out in our review later this week.

Rhythm Core Alpha (500pts, SoftEgg Enterprises) – A live music performance tool, Rhythm Core Alpha may not be the most beautiful-looking DSiWare title (no, really) but hopefully it'll deliver in the sonic department. You'll know for sure later on this week.
 
August 16th.

Divergent Shift (800pts, Intrinsic Games) – We previously knew this one as Reflection, a puzzle game that requires you to use both DS screens simultaneously to guide your character to safety. It seems to bear some similarities to Chronos Twins and Mighty Flip Champs, which is no bad company to be in, so stay tuned for our full review coming soon.

3D Mahjong (500pts, Cosmigo) – Matching tiles in 3D is now a reality thanks to Cosmigo. 3D Mahjong includes 50 layouts and millions of different shuffles for each, plus a selection of tilesets and backgrounds to mix things up a little. Check back later this week to see if this one is worth your while.

myNotebook: Carbon (500pts, Nnooo) – With 128 pages, a battery indicator and the ability to export your pages to an SD card, this looks like being a much improved version of myNotebook. If this is worth the virtual paper it's printed on, you'll find out in our review.

Just Sing! National Anthems (200pts, Engine Software) – With all the pageantry and patriotism of the World Cup well and truly over, let's have one last tuneless stab at singing one of five anthems: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Japan and the United States. Released in Europe two months ago, have a read of our Just Sing! National Anthems review. If you do pick it up this week, good luck singing the Japanese national anthem.

Music On: Learning Piano (200pts, Abylight) – The third in the Music On series following Electronic Keyboard and Retro Keyboard, this new instalment takes a different approaching, attempting to teach the fundamentals of reading sheet music through fifteen classical pieces. We'll soon find out if this is worth a standing ovation or is simply A Musical Joke.

Cosmos X2 (500pts, Saturnine Games) – An old-school side-scrolling shoot 'em up, Cosmos X2 could plug a big gap in the DSiWare line-up. With a range of weapons upgrades and separate energy bars for each weapon on offer, you can be sure our upcoming review will shoot from the hip.

myNotebook: Pearl (500pts, Nnooo) – The second colour of Nnooo's improved personal jotter series, Pearl is slightly more pearlescent than the previous release, but still features the same increased page count, clock and battery meter as its carbon cousin. * Simply Mahjong (Engine Software, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): A rare instance of a game's title and its design pitch being one and the same.
* My Exotic Farm (BiP Media, 1-2 players, 200 DSi Points): Like all citizens just beginning a new life in America, "all you own is an empty field, a few pennies and a single parrot." Build your farm, acquire more animals and eventually earn the greatest beast of them all: the 4x4.
* Music on: Acoustic Guitar (Abylight, 1 player, 200 DSi Points): On-screen chords show you where to place your fingers on a real guitar. There's also a metronome, the ability to save ten jam sessions and "a palm mute function."

Castle Conqueror (CIRCLE Entertainment, 500 Points) — Just as the tin says, you'll be storming castles and presumably punching things in this single-player, casual-oriented, real-time strategy game.

Crazy Pinball (dtp entertainment, 500 Points) — Pinball that is allegedly crazy . A pretty average, somewhat dull flipper fest.

myNotebook: Tan (Nnooo, 500 Points) — The final color of this gen of myNotebook.
 
September 20th.

Everyday Soccer (Aksys Games, 500pts) – A soccer title that offers the ability to customise teams and players and DS Download Play for gamers who want to take the game to a friend.

GO Series: 10 Second Run (Gamebridge, 200pts) – A short but sweet portable piece of platforming precision, our GO Series: 10 Second Run will let you know if the game puts a foot wrong.

Nintendo Countdown Calendar (Nintendo, 200pts) – Yes, it's finally here: the day you've all, somewhat ironically, been counting down to. Nintendo's latest DSiWare application is a countdown calendar, helping you to keep track of all those upcoming events by telling you exactly how far away they are. Add school, work and romantic events to your schedule and enjoy all the fun of watching the days count down!
