Yeah, I played the demo, but you have to level up a lot to really not die in the first dungeon. Get it for $15.

well this is a very long and hard RPG and is old school (wich is not something bad) but is somewhat frustrating if you don't like RPGs

If you don't like RPG's don't get it. It is, however, very long and fun. I love getting in fights and leveling up my characters. I love the amount of customization that comes into giving your character's moves (Leveling up Swords helps a character control higher level Swords and use different special attacks and abilities, etc). There's also alot of side quest stuff to do, like capturing monsters, and locating the really rare ones to make an unstoppable team for the Monster Arena. I loved the game. I think it's a must-buy for PS2 owners.

My favourite PS2 game and in my top 4 favourite games ever. :)

That said, it's not for everyone and definately not for the modern gamers. It's a very traditional RPG and a lot of time, level-grinding and money-grinding is required. Not for those that hate traditional turn-based (and to you people, I say "Pffft") battles either. It's oldschool, it's true to the Dragon Warrior series, and it's fantastic...but some people wont grasp it.

I say yes, it's worth 15 dollars. It's worth 50.

Yeah, I don't think I'd like this one much because level grinding totally sucks. :P

That's part of the reason I love Bioware RPG's so much. The leveling is paced perfectly, in all of them, so you don't have to stop every hour to go level grind...

Its not that bad in the beginning.
