Dark Sector anyone?

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Remember this game? It was hyped to death for PS3 and 360. Now it's released and I haven't heard a single word about it. Was anyone here excited about it? I read a review for it from 1up.com and they gave it a "B". Saying the visuals were impressive and the gameplay blantly rips off Gears of War.
 
The reviews averaged a 7, so far. I read a couple, and most basically said that the only thing that makes it entertaining is how ridiculously gory it is.

So it's basically a Gears of War clone, with a lot more crazy, over the top ways to kill.
 
I've only seen one review so far... And that was Xplay's (why do I even bother with this show anymore) and they gave it a 2/5 (that's a 40 for people who don't want to do math)

I've been watching my boyfriend play this game. He was soooo excited to get it because he's been waiting forever for this game. It's a good looking game, but I have to agree with everyone else who says it gets old quickly. We keep waiting to get more abilities (game has HUGE potential for some awesome abilities/weapons), but nothing is coming that has blown my skirt up yet. It's a renter IMO.....
