Best GBA RPG

I pick Golden Sun: The Lost Age as my favorite RPG on the GBA.

It had superb graphics, a great story, and I loved the Djinns/summon moves.

I just wish they'd make a third one already. I heard they were supposed to be a trilogy, but there's been no word on the last installment yet. If it's on the DS, I'm gonna be forced to get one.
 
I like the Golden Sun series. My favorite is the first one, but you won't understand the whole story unless you play both. *^_^*
 
I'm going to have to say Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Sure, it isn't a serious RPG, but it's the best GBA RPG I've seen.

Why's the first one your favorite? The only reason I picked the second one was beacause it was longer and had more summons and stuff, but it was a lot like the first.
 
I'm not sure why I like the first one better. Maybe because it was the first one I played? I don't know. I also like the characters from the first one better (except for the Mars Adepts).

I agree with you on the characters. I just like how the story continues though. Plus, a flying ship? Come on, how can you not love that?
 
Heh. Yeah, the flying ship was pretty sweet. It made getting around a lot faster. :D I also liked the music when you were in the ship.

I dunno, I think maybe it's just that I was totally surprised by how good Golden Sun was, and I expected GS 2 to be good so it wasn't a surprise that it turned out good.
 
I also like the Golden Sun series, I havent really played any other rpg for the gba to compare it to though. Anyone else have any fav rpg games for the gba?
 
Lunar Legends is another good one if you're a fan of the Lunar series.

But yeah, after all these years I'm still going with Golden Sun as my favorite.
 
Lunar Legends was good, but felt weird to me. Since seeing Nash at the start of the game instead of later on in the PS1 and Sega CD edition...

My fav GBA RPG would have to be....Final Fantasy IV Advance. Such a sweet game in a portable wonder
