Animal Crossing Wii 2008?

Halo2

I'm the best when it comes to close-range xD
Although there has been very little information about Animal Crossing Wii, it seems that the rumored title is set to be released sometime this year in Japan.

Nintendo UK's Official Magazine had a small article regarding the upcoming Animal Crossing game for the Wii, with a quote stating "It’s been a long wait but Animal Crossing Wii will arrive in 2008."

As you'd expect, still no word regarding how this game will utilize the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or the Wii for that matter.

Im sorry but what is Animal Crossing? =p

:o

You have lived a very sheltered life. :'(
Animal Crossing is probably one of the most unusual and addictive games on the Nintendo DS and Game Cube. It is sort of an open Sim where you name your town & character. You then begin a life collecting, visiting neighbors, building and furnishing your house, designing your own T-shirts, etc. You can connect on-line, or to another DS nearby to visit other towns.

It's been stated it'll be an MMO style. Also, doesn't matter that Japan'll get it late this year, it'll take a long time to translate and convert the humor. So, 09 for us. :/

It's a very cool game... kind of like the sims... just with cartoon animals.

The Gamecube version is the best IMO. but the DS does have cool features as well.

I seriously was an Animal Crossing addict for a awhile... and I think they could make MANY OTHERS Animal Crossing addicts. They are close to doing this... they just have a few elements to get down.

I mean, the Cube version hit it well... there are just a few things that need to be added to keep the Gameplay going longer into the future. The Gamecube version provides about 4 months of addictive fun... AS LONG AS YOU DON'T CHEAT to finish collections.

†B†V† :hat

Seems like a no-brainer for the Wii, since the 'Cube version had such a broad appeal that extended even to non-gamers. I remember finding out that a lot of stay-at-home moms were closet AC addicts.

Yeah, Animal Crossing, even hardcore Nintendo fans like it, plus all the casuals. They've already broken, what was it, ten million?

Anyone who touches Animal Crossing is bound to like it..or get sucked in even though they hate it. I can't wait for it on the Wii.

Yeah, I know, it's gotta be one of the stupidest games ever, but it's so addicting. Like Pokemon. Like it or hate it, you have to own at least one of them.

Meh, I liked the cube version for a little while, but Wild World I didn't... Probably because I bought Wild World after I got bored with the Cube version.

I bought Wild World a month after the original. I've gotten rid of both, though.
