And I suppose you're basing this on the millions of games he sold, and the huge number of fans he has?

Seriously, I honestly don't like Cloud, and Sephiroth, but considering how popular FFVII was, they deserve to be in it. Its the same thing with Zelda. I know you aren't exactly a big fan of the series, but based on Link's popularity, it would piss off a lot of fans to keep him out of the thing.

Oh, and Link is kicking the CRAP out of Cloud right now. He's leading by 10,000 votes.
 
How can u really count on this thing. its just like american Idol comeon the L-block in the finals?!?! How funny will it be if the L-block beats all.

Yeah, alot more Nintendo faithful jump on there. Honestly, in a real fight, you're looking at Cloud's buster sword as opposed to Link's.....boomerang.... :lol

I understand your love for Nintendo and all...but seriously. This is no competition. Unfortunately, it's just "how many Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft" fans will vote.

I don't think they literally mean a battle. If they did, Samus, Master Chief and Gordon Freeman would be near unbeatable because they have guns. Its basically just meant to see which character is most popular, from what I can tell.
 
Of course it's a popularity contest. What would L-Block do? Rotate and fall on Cloud for 9999 damage?
