Winback 2 Xbox - It was released?

At IGN... they stated a Winback 2 was released on the Xbox in april:

It seems that the game bombed though... which disappoints me. 1st... I didn't even know it was out... 2nd, this was one of my FAVORITE N64 games (yes, I know it was later ported to the PS2). This was a very cool N64 game... and should never be passed up by N64 owners. Winback on the Xbox received a 4.4 rating from IGN... user reviews aren't far off of that.

Did anyone play this? If so, please post up your personal opinions of the game.

I've read many reviews on this game, as I was a huge fan of the 64 version as well. Every review seems to say the game is solid, but then they harp on how it's too much like the 64 version, and then they slap it with a terrible rating.

I'm determined to play this game for myself because it was my hope that they wouldn't stray too far from the original gameplay. Sometimes it seems like reviewers don't really understand the meaning of the term sequel...

I didn't give this much thought, since it was a critical failure. Haven't talked to anyone who has played it yet...

yeah... I mean I didn't know it was out.... I never saw it on the lists... and I never saw it go through the suppliers.

I just happened across it will scoping out the xbox.ign.com section looking at reviews... I thought "what the heck!  I never saw this before.  I wonder how I missed it."  Then I saw the rating.

@ stealth... who said it was solid?

Has ANYONE played this yet?

I thought the IGN review actually said that the gameplay mechanics worked, but there was nothing different about them from the 64 game, which they then said was a bad thing.

I dunno, maybe I dreamt the whole review up. My job requires me to get up at 3:30am 5 days a week, it is so hard to separate the waking from the dreaming world these days
