Wii logo?

Wow. That's a fantastic logo, as a matter of fact.

While I had a negative connotation of the name at first, I've decided I'll wait until after E3 in order to see what kind of marketing blitz they have in store. Not only that, but the content..

But, the logo is awesome! Not only does it look like

A) The controllers
B) Two people sitting on a couch watching or playing something to the left.
C) Waves of pure awesome.

I LOVE the text. It's great. It's true. Sorry stealth ;-).
 
I saw a different logo that I think is the official one. It's plastered all over IGN, so head over there if you want to see it. The two "ii"'s are meant to look like people, sort of like the people on bathroom doors and pedestrian crossing signs.

That's kind of sad....but I guess some people will stick with a company no matter HOW horrible it gets. :lol

I'm not particularly fond of the name and if Nintendo doesn't do some magic marketing at and beyond E3, it's over.

Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to like some of the puns and twists the utilize with the new name - that logo is very, very nice. A lot better than anything I've seen in recent years for game consoles period. Feel free to dig up some cool Sony or Microsoft (even Nintendo) ads.
