I think "Dragon Quest VIII"(PS2) is a testament to just how awesome Cell Shading is.

I personally don't care much for it, I prefer a more realistic style. However, graphics are kind of a moot point in games for me anyways.

I was one of the few people who really loved Wind Waker. I think cel-shading is awesome when it's done right.

I love hand drawn graphics and animation in games, so yeah I love the Cell Shading. I only get into the realistic stuff when it comes to racers like Ridge Racer, etc.

Pretty much what people have been saying. If done right it looks fantastic and helps the game feel more alive. Look at Jet Set Radio and Wind Waker as two of the best examples.
