i've had enough of the constant flaming and fanboyism in threads these days, so i made a thread thats refreshingly simple, what games are you looking forward to?

Yeah, it's a picture of Vault Boy from the Fallout Radioactive image set, but I changed the Brotherhood of Steel logo on his back to a "3". I'm getting a new PC next year for this game.

I hope to god they don't make it just like Oblivion. If it ends up being Oblivion with guns, I will personally hunt down every Bethesda employee who worked on Fallout 3 and castrate and brand them like a heard of cattle. DON'T MESS WITH FALLOUT!!!!!!! >:(

Yeah Oblivion was good, but Fallout is a lot better and I would much rather have another Fallout than a sci-fi Oblivion. Do me a favor Hines, if you ever are over at the Bethesda forums, deliver my words of castration lol.
 
Oblivion is a god of video games. I really hope they don't share their good fortune and try to make Fallout 3 the same. I've personally never heard of the Fallout series.

Yeah, they are two separate types of games that shouldn't be treated as the same thing in different settings.

:o :o :o :o Okay, I guess it isn't THAT surprising. Fallout was a cult classic from 10 years ago. It was made by Interplay, specifically its Black Isle Studios devision, and is widely considered (by the few people who actually played it lol) to be one of the best RPG's of all time.

Judging by the buzz at No Mutants Allowed it's looking more and more like Oblivion with Fallout elements slapped on, but it's way too early to judge the final product and NMA is full of ravenous fanboys anyway. However, if they do screw the pooch on this one like they did with POS on the consoles, which was just Baldur's Gate hosed down in Fallout juice, the franchise is doomed to sentimental obscurity.
