virtual console reccomendations?

im thinking about buying a wii points card, but what games should i get? im definitly getting super metroid, and i was thinking about paper mario

what should i get?

EDIT - if i get a snes game, and an n64 game, how many points will i have left?
 
I tend to stick with the older stuff, since N64 games are 1000 points and I can just drag out my N64 to play those games.

So this is what I have:
Legend of Zelda (NES)
Tecmo Bowl (NES)
Kid Icarus (NES)
Kirby (NES)
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES)
Super Metroid (SNES)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Genesis)
Golden Axe (Genesis)

I think I might have more but those are the ones I remember.
 
Since you have an N64, I'll recommend some of the older, and cheaper games:

Super Metroid.
Both Sonic's
Metroid
Super Mario RPG (I CAN DREAM CAN'T I??? :'()
ALTP.
 
NES games are 500 points.
SNES and Genesis are 800
N64 are 1000.

If you get N64 games you'll only be able to get 2. But you can get four NES games.
 
what about street fighter 2? i noticed that there are two different versions of it on VC, whats the difference? ill consider buying the better version :P

@cherry, we can use money, its $20 for 2000 points, $30 for 3000 points, etc. all the way up to $50 using a credit card

you can do it right from the shop channel

So why not just pay for it in regular money instead of running out to get a bunch of Wii points? It makes absolutely no sense. Microsoft does the same thing and it sucks with the 360 too...
