Video Games Were Invented By The Devil

I know this article isn't super new,but entertaining nonetheless.What are your thoughts?

Have you ever noticed when dumb ***'s like this say video games are bad they always use the Grand Theft Auto series like it's either the only video game series out there or every game is exacly like it. If video games were so bad don't you think the haters would have many more examples other than just Grand Theft Auto.

Ive played violent video games and have listened to all sorts of metal music practically all my life you know how many fights ive been in 0 wanna know what i got on my police record nothing and it's gonna stay that way i'm not even an angry person i'm the opposite i'm mellow and caring.

But apparently to people like this fine lady if there are a few rotten apples in a tank full of shiny ripe apples apparently they are all rotten by default.
 
Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me one bit. I see kids walking around, oblivious to the world, with those hand-held video games everywhere I go.

On one horrible afternoon that scarred me for life, I even saw a kid walking out of the public library playing a Nintendo DS.

I was also learning to think creatively, spell and build my vocabulary to the point that I was able to get a job as a professional writer, where people pay me to ride on fire engines, go on ride-alongs with cops and insult the makers of video games.

My kids do play games, outdoors in the fresh air, where they’re building their muscles and hopefully a lifetime habit of fitness. What are the kids who play “Grand Theft Auto” learning? How to be carjackers? How to be pursued by police? Those are skills I really want my children to acquire. Maybe we can get the entire “Grand Theft Auto” series and start a new dynasty.

These made me laugh me most. A lot of the things I learned are from video games. Video games have made me think and reflect on things. You can't be stupid and play Silent Hill. You can't be a complete moron and play every game.

The point she misses is that she seems to only think about the things she sees and hasn't done alot of research about games beforehand. You don't have to play GTA to be pursued by the police. Last time I checked, GTA wasn't exactly the greatest guide to learning how to jack a car.

If you're a good parent, you can influence your children to NOT do these things.
 
Ya'll should read the comments, as well as the "update" she wrote.

I can't understand how this woman was able to breed. Video games, much like everything else in this world can be either fun, or destructive. It's called moderation. My kids play games, and also go outside and be kids. All in the same day!

In the end, take the mindless ramblings of this person, and her contemporaries, with a grain of salt. Because opinions like these do not stand up to factual scrutiny.
 
Didn't bother to read the article, but when people say such absurd things as this it usually means they aren't playing with a full deck if you know what I mean.
 
This is probably why I am sick of Grand Theft Auto. It hogs up the spotlight, it's as dumb as hearing DOOM or MORTAL KOMBAT in this day and age. Time to pick another game and move on.
 
Well obvisouly video games were created by the devil they're fun and everything that's fun is created by devil. ::D

Seriously I skimmed over the article seems to be the same old garbage claims by a self rightous windbag that I have read several hundred times before else where.
 
Stay at home moms sometimes have the most dangerous opinions because they have free time to sit there and form an opinion on crap they don't know anything about or simply is so incredibly stupid my IQ drops just from hearing about it.
