According to the live blog feed,President of SCEJ Announces the FFXIII special edition Lightning PlayStation 3. It's pink and white And comes with a 250GB HDD. So yes, the 250GB Model is real.

Also, Manga comics coming to the PS Network. Like DBZ and One Piece.

Honestly, they are taking their sweet time with it and I have to say, let them. It will be worth it.

P.S. March 2010 is the Japan release date...the USA and Europe is unknown still.

Looks very, meh. Almost like RE4 for the Wii. Feels too gimmicky.
