The Last Guadrian Cancelled?!?!

Gamestop started cancelling pre-orders of the last Guardian, and while Sony is denying the game's cancellation, I can't help but think something is up here. Gamestop couldn't have been acting on nothing. There had to be some piece of information that brought the game's release into doubt for Gamestop to react the way they did. I get the feeling the game's development is in some kind of jeopardy or doubt at this point. I really hope Sony is right though because this looked like one hell of a game. It would suck if it never saw the light of day.

recently it was stated the director of this game was leaving sony. I was under the impression that he was going to leave after the game was over, perhaps I was wrong?

It hasn't been canceled. Gamestop is just being… something.

Yeah, their senior director guy left but the project is still very much alive.

Senior director and Lead something or other both left, but are finishing the game on contract.

Something happened, but this is probably Gamestop's way of sending a message, telling them to get their crap together or they're not gonna waste time processing pre-orders for a game that is gonna take another 3 years to come out.

hm... that is strange... but it does make sense as to what Stealth is saying.

I haven't even seen what this game is all about... I'm about to go look into it. Why is everyone excited for this title?
