Super Monkey Ball Adventure... what's up with Sega?

Seriously... they took a game that was exclusive and was VERY VERY unique and a good play, and put it to all the other systems, and NOW it seems they are rushing the games out (or they might be out of ideas).

Super Monkey Ball Adventure on the Gamecube got a 4.8... check the review at ign:

All I have to say is... what's up? This game was a killer series... and it seems it is starting to go down the tubes into LESS than mediocrity.

But the adventure game, wasn't that made by different developers or something?

We had been looking forward to it, too, until the rewiews.
 
I never really liked the single player of this game at all. My friends and I to this day still play the bowling minigame on Xbox though. Coincidentally, I was one pin away from a perfect game just the other day, much to the disbelief and subsequent ridicule by my friends who witnessed such an event.

Yes I know it was slightly off topic, but seriously, 11 strikes in a row, and then 1 pin away from a perfect game, you just gotta share that kind of news!

I think it was because around the same time, Sega was working on some 360/PS3 titles and did not want to take up that time for this game I think it was a shame, but what can you do.

Super Monkey Ball adventrure SUCKED EGGS!!! That game is, and was horible!!!! I am going to sell mine for another game! :P

My opinion of the Super Monkey Ball series:

Super Monkey Ball 1: Epic
Super Monkey Ball 2: Epic x2
Super Monkey Ball GBA: Fun, but not as good
Super Monkey Ball Adventure: Spent too much time (which still wasn't enough :P) working on some sort of "plot", and messed up the whole game because of it.

If you've ever played the Super Monkey Ball arcade game, that was fun, too. It's basically just Super Monkey Ball 1, with a robot "announcer host" voice instead of the male voice. And you control the game using a banana joystick. How cool is that?!
