So, any of you who have used, abused, taken advantage of, and been taken by the Steam holiday sales, take a moment to add up your totals...

How many games have you bought or received during December and the holiday madness?
And how much moolah did Steam get from you?

Opinions on Far Cry? Never played it but buying the complete pack is tempting.

UPDATE: Bought Far Cry complete pack. I also bought the Jedi Knight Collection.

It's weird how it still runs kind of laggy on my PC. It's a 6 year old game. Ah well, my next upgrade (an Intel core i7) should hopefully fix that up.

I only played the demo of FC on PC and it was really fun. About the slowdown, it could just be the game itself. For example, Morrowind, which is like a 9 year old game, still runs slow and crappy in some parts even on the highest end machines.
 
I see. That's definitely one of the few minor gripes I have about PC gaming. Not all games are optimized so they run laggy regardless.

I missed this sale and caught it on the last day and just did not have the cash to spare at that moment. Kinda annoyed with myself because there were some absolute steals to be had. Hope they do another one.

My total, is a pointless 0.00GBP :-(
