Square-Enix unsure of remaking Final Fantasy V and VI for NDS.

I, personally would love FF5 to make a come back since that is my fav. However, the majority would rather play 6 to death.

I already have Final Fantasy on the NES, II, Mystic Quest, and FF III on the SNES, FF I & II: Dawn of Souls, IV, V, and VI, on the GBA.

Do we really need NDS versions when there are already NES/SNES, Playstation, and GBA versions of the games?

they just look pretty and they generally tend to be more challenging than the original versions

Okay, Dawn of Souls added an extra dungeon that Final Fantasy on the NES didn't have.

Final Fantasy IV Advance brought back many of the items from the Famicon release and added the lunar dungeons, but it was still by no means a difficult game.

I haven't finished Final Fantasy V on the GBA, nor have played the Playstation version, so can't give a comparison there.

I meant the DS versions. i am aware that the GBA versions of these games have the same difficulty or are even easier than the original SNES/PSX versions

Read the article. It states Final Fantasy. Final Fight wasn't even made by Square-Enix, but by Capcom.

Yeah, name of the thread says Final Fantasy V and VI for the NDS. What is your point? I was using other games from the series that have been remade multiple times as an example.

I'm sure it was just some wishful thinking, eh Mega? ;)

I would love some new Final Fight games. Well as long as they aren't like Streetwise xD
