Revolution Technical Specs

It can't be that much more expensive than Microsoft "making" people get broadband if they wanted to play on XBOX Live, or "making" people buy $80 XBOX Live starter kits if they wanted to go on XBL.

I know........thats kinda what I was getting at. I dont remember, but wasnt the 360 going wireless only as well? The wireless router will add to the cost of all of that.

Well us dial-up users have been left behind already.  There are no wireless routers available to us.  So for the time beign no wireless internet will be in the house until we upgrade, and have new computers.  Dial-up is slower but I believe they should have a smaller thing for people to use, even if it is slower, let all of us slower folk play against our ownselves.

I believe there are ways to do it though.

IE... sharing the computers Internet connection between networked computers.... (Set that up)... then throw that computer onto a switch/hub / or a >2 port router and you would be able to share that connection over the LAN.

Sounds a little complicated, but I don't think its that complicated.
Heck, back in the day of desperate times (:lol) I used to network computers via the serial port.... yes, I actually played games between 2 computers like that. Its not that odd of a situation though.
