Thats good. I have a PSP in reserve. Now Hopefully the cd lid gets fixed.
The UMD only "flies" out if someone holds the PSP upside-down and twists the console with the intent on breaking it in half.

That's how they made those movies you saw.

Wow, that's something. Sony admitting they made a boo-boo!  :lol

Someone mark that on the calendar or something.  ;)
I should do that.

really... its about time they did this. Now they should fix the 5000 defective PSP's that they said they wouldn't fix

fyi... thats not true. Mine flew out.. sort of. Holding it horizontal.... I popped the drive open... and the thing ejected.
I did not twist or bend the system. And I knew of the problem so I did it over the bed :lol

just when I opened the drive.

IE via the little switch on top.

Well it's meant to pop a little, so it's easier to grab with fingers. Same with MiniDisk players, and same with car tape players. It's just so an edge sticks up so you don't have to use a screwdriver :p

Oh, really? that makes sense. It didn't seem like that in the movies that are out there.

So I've heard. I'm never going to give my PSP any sort of brutality, as it was more than expensive. I'll treat it as a it should be to avoid any sort of damage, whether cosmetic or otherwise.

Well sorta off topic, but I got an Ipod for christmas. And all my friends kid around with me, because of how I treat it. I guess Im sort of a paranoid of it getting scrathes and marks on the screen. Same thing with my gba, the first year I had that thing, I treated it extrememly well. I guess its better to be protective then destructive? :)

I plan to get multiple screen protectors and hopefully there will be a custom-leather case that'll fit over the PSP for protection. I don't want any chances of that thing breaking.

There's nothing wrong with taking care of your stuff. Especially if you buy stuff with your own hard earned money.

That's like me, At the skatepark, me and me friends ride around and if someone wipes out or gets mad they'll throw thier bike (thier parents paid for thier bikes) and I saved up for two years and bought mine myself, and I won't even go through water fast, at the risk of getting my bike dirty.
