PSP 2 to be called, "PSP Go!" and it needs an entirely new memory card...

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Memory Stick Micro

PC World's Game On is reporting that its "sources" have "hinted" at the storage medium for the rumored PSP Go! Refuting the claim that the device will ship with onboard Flash Storage, the blog suggests that the device will make use of the Memory Stick HG-Micro format announced at CES, although it's not clear from the wording if that "expanded" version of the current Memory Stick Micro (pictured) is the exact format or just an example.

It holds more space? Check. It cost more? Check. Was it really needed? Unchecked.

Memory Stick HG-Micro?

So that is something that's not even out yet?

I wish Sony would stop using their proprietary memory cards (which always cost more) and just use SD cards like everything else.

And PSP Go! is a lame name, IMO. :lol Well I guess if they took out the exclamation point it might be ok.

So apparently two insiders have contradicting information?

I prefer the 8 or 16 GB onboard storage versus the memory cards. The memory cards are gonna be hyper expensive when they are first released, just like the 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo was for the PSP so long ago.

So long ago? :lol

8 gig Sony brand Memory Stick Duos still go for about $55 where I live, compared to $25.99 for an 8 gig SD.
