Note: It is only required for Japan.

But that bugs me... Why do they get an update but we technically don't?

The PSN store could be acting up. I believe something happened to the Europeans not too long ago with the same effect.

2.43 is now ready for US as of today. It brings Life With Playstation.

But thanks to the new firmware update, it's now alive and breathing..though mine burps sometimes...
