There were about 40 in line at the Gamestop near me. I wasn't expecting that many to be honest. But the Gamestop I go to is tops in Michigan.

I think it's just because Gamestop decided mere hours before the launch that they were going to do a launch. People weren't ready for it.
 
I don't see this being a big thing, no one I know who has a PS3 has mentioned anything about it, and, it's not like they'll ever be out of stock at this rate. :lol

I disagree there. I think it's nice to have the option, but when they start trying to take over the market, that's not a good sign.

It's just a fad. Wii's fun to play for a week, and I'm sure this and the Kinect will also be fun novelties for a short while. However, both of them I don't see lasting very long.
