Atlus announced Persona 3 Portable for PSP, a port of Persona 3 FES for PS2 with new features, including a new female protagonist, additional music, weapon, and updated soc-link system. The game will be released in Japan on November 1, 2009, as a launch title for PSP Go.
 
NO!! I want one now! I wonder who the new character is...and if she alters the story. Unless they added Metis in the main game...?
 
Wow this means three "different" versions of SMT: Persona 3. It does seem bogglomg to now have two different Persona 3 FES's. Needless to say Im getting the PSP version.

Here are some new images of Atlus' Persona 3 Portable for PSP, the game will be available in both UMD and digital download in Japan on November 1, for 5980 yen. The PSP version will be based on Persona 3 FES with additional new features, including a new female protagonist, both male and female protagonists will have different partners, events and stories; there will be all new characters as well.
