What PC gaming controllers do you use? Do you use any special Game Keypads such as the Belkin Nostromo? OR the Wolf King Warrior?

What works well for you and why? I want to hear what makes you kick butt in PC games.

POST IT UP!!

99% of the time I use the mouse and keyboard since no controller can compare to it, but, when I do use a controller I use my cheap "logitech dual". It is basically a dual shock knockoff, but it does the job. My buddy has the wired 360 controller for PC and it is very, very nice. If I used the controller more I'd definitely get one.

For everything but RPGs and some games that came out on console I use the mouse and keyboard. For the others I use a Logitech Rumble Pad, basically the dual shock but instead of the analogs in a circular area it's square.

The best PC gaming paddle in existence, is also the best gaming controller in existence period.

The playstation controller cannot be touched in my mind as far of comfort and button placement. You can pick up a USB to playstation port adapter at your local electronics store for a whopping $13.99 CAN. Once you plug it in, windows will see it as a game controller with a pile of buttons and two yokes. (Your analog sticks). The analogue button still works, and when switched two it will enable different buttons.

If you are a fan of the guitar hero series, all adapters I've ever encountered (even the 8.99 PSONE radioshack one) are compatible with PS2 guitars, even the wireless ones. That means you can play Frets On Fire, the computer version of guitar hero which has a ridiculous number of fan made songs.

If you are into the Dance Dance Revolution scene then i would recommend the 'SMARTJOY' adapters. (I have one of these personally). You can order them online. It is impossible to press left and right or up and down at the same time on a paddle, so the regular adapters will not sense this on a mat. Smartjoy adapters come with a dancepad mode that allows this, as well as custom drivers and software.

I do use the Belkin Nostromo N52TE gamepad and the Wolf King Warrior for Counterstrile.

The Nostromo Gaming pad works very well. You can even make profiles for the pad for use in many other programs outside gaming. It has helped me be more productive in excel and word docs... among the other examples I could pull out.

The Wolf King pad doesn't have customization... It's about 51 keys and they are just an extension of your keyboard arranged in a good way for Counter-strike. Actually... I got the Counter-Strike Special edition from Newegg.com It was $40 and came with Counter-Strike: Source full version.

So I use both actually... The Nostromo rocks because it is comfortable, and cusomizable It takes a bit to get used to... more so than the Wolf King Warrior.
