OnLive. Steam's new arch rival.

$15 a month for their service? Trying to be like Xbox Live on an PC is not a good thing. Especially when STEAM owns over 70% of the PC market right now.

Sounds weak. If I had a spare $15 a month, I'd have other things to spend it on. I mean, are they even offering anything that Steam doesn't already offer?

I thought OnLive's appeal was that it could run on all computers so long as they had broadband. Been years since I heard about it so i could be out the loop :P

$15 is cheap compared to buying a decent PC that can run a few games well.

On top of the PC, you still have to pay for the games. With this you just pay to play the games, which might end up cheaper for certain people.

There's no PC. Just a set-top box.

If there it were $15 a month with no additional fees after that, OnLive might have a chance, but with this pricing scheme, Valve has absolutely nothing to worry about.

QFT. This will tank within a year.

What are the additional fees?
