Zi's beaten it I believe. I have it as well. It's a gorgeous game. Combat's easy and fluid. Boss's each have a strategy for beating them. It's great.![]()
i have beaten 3 out of 5 of the stories (i would do it faster but due to the lack of 100% ps3 time i can only play about 8 hours a week)
ok first the good things..
-story is amazing, kinda complicated but the characters are really memorable and have deep personalities and emotions
-graphics and art style... well just outstanding, very pretty animations, is like you are playing a drawing.
-gameplay, thanks to the alchemy system there is depth in the way that you always need to be prepared for every dungeon and during the dungeon analyze what you need or might need to use later in the game. the combat is simple but addictive and by the time you might get bored of using one character you get to play with another one which changes your strategies against certain enemies.
-difficulty can be changed at any given time, i play in normal mode (i started in hard mode but due to the need of grinding to beat it this way i decided to change to normal) and while is still difficult is not impossible if you make good strategies, if you are not good at making strategies, there is always easy mode or grinding (even though i don't go back to old stages to grind, i do go through all the rooms of the dungeon before going to the boss so that gives me enough levels)
- JAPANESE VOICE ACTING = SUCCESS
the bad things
- it can be repetitive, with some bosses and stages that repeat and the combat is only 1 button combat
- there is major slowdown in framerate in certain parts of the game
in my opinion is a great game, it is a little bit repetitive but it's not really that much as to completely destroy the game, usually because when it starts to feel repetitive you already finished a character's story and therefore you get a new fresh experience, plus the story and art style just keep me playing.
