For Christmas I got an HP laptop with 3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 15.4'' High Definition screen, and an AMD Turion X2 64 processor.

I can finally run some decent games!

Does it sound like a good laptop to you guys?

What kind of graphics card do you have? Also it's better to have 4 gigs on vista just to be sure it runs fine.

I'm not sure. It's NVIDIA though.

Not sure if Vista does the same thing but, go to start, run, and type in dxdiag. That should show all of the hardware and such.

Sounds good. Should go to "Can You Run It" and see if you can run higher end games, like Crysis My graphics card failed cause it doesnt have that highest version of pixel shader or something.

What you can run is mostly determined by what graphics card you have, and I'm not sure that this one is all that good. You might wanna go to can you run it like Starry suggested before you buy any PC games so you don't end up buying one that your PC can't run.
