hi champs!
am a newbie - so please be gentle.
Apologies if this problem has been posted elsewhere that i didnt find in my browsing.
Here goes...
I just inherited a japanese top loading Neo Geo CD and having a problem getting the games to display properly.
when they load - they look greyed and blocky almost like I am watching through a net curtain (yeah - terrible description I know and suggests I spend alot of time peering through peoples windows - but hey...) however, with games like samurai spirits and KoF 95 where the "gaming screen" looks greyed out and blocky - the life bars / power up bars are full colour and great resolution. as if its seperate.
Also - the loading screens are full colour and decent resolution - but the boot screen is blocky and greyed.
FWIW i own a Neo Geo AES, a jap mega / genesis and a jap PC FX and i dont have the same problems with those on the same TV.
I hope someone can give me some pointers... and let me point out up front, that despite owning a houseful of games consoles i am something of a technotard so you'll have to offer advice as if to your favourite nan working out texting on her new mobile.
Cheers in advance.
