They are what anime fans live off of. We wouldn't be here if we hadn't encountered one gem or another. They were the moments that made us cry, that made us fall out of our seats in disbelief, that made us quickly log onto a forum because we HAD to talk to someone about it, or those images we simply can't erase from our heads.

What are your mind-blowing anime moments?

Finding out Ichigo's dad is a Shinigami.

Finding out that Kirika was the one who killed Mireille's parents.

Finding out that Madlax was a part of Margaret.

The part when Pacifica Casul's twin brother stabs her and then himself.

Finding out that Tsubasa's player was a female.
 
My mind blowing... Let me rephrase... My most mind blowing anime experience ever was when I gazed upon the first anime I had ever laid my innocent eyes upon...

I still can't recall the title... But I do have three toys from the series, and many memorable images inside my head... Like when the main character in the really awesome battle robot went up against the guy in the extremely powerful and almost unstoppable big red robot thing!!! THAT WAS ULTIMATE!!! I never thought he could take him on and live, but he managed to get away JUST, and cause alot of damage to the enemy unit too!


I don't think there's any anime fan who would deny one of their most mind blowing anime experiences weren't caused by the very first anime series they got into.

It was Robotech! ^_^ ... and there's any wonder why I love Giant Fighting Robots?
 
Watching Takato and Guilmon digivolve to mega for the first time. That was just badass.

The ending. I actually cried. >.>

ooh i thought of a nother one, thins is from the trigun manga

each time vash's hair has turned blacker it has shocked me. at first i thought it was just a artistic change because it changed over the trigun-trigun maximum change. each time it has gotten blacker has been one of those mind blowing moments. especially the one right after worlfwood died. that was so sad.
 
When Euphie died and Suzaku was sooo enraged to the point where he'd kill his best firiend (Lelouch = Zero) in the end. Just...wow. And Nuanally didn't get away! >=O

hell i was traumatized by the fact that there was a speed racer movie. thank you hollywood for repackaging my childhood and attempting to seel it back to me at todays prices.
 
the end of evangelion (i mean the movie) the series might have been a bit boring sometimes and i think is overrated HOWEVER the movie is a complete different story XD i loved it and is quite possibly one of my favorite movies with so many WTH? moments
 
The most defining moment in amine was when the princess in Code Geass was accidentaly ordered to kill all of the japanese at the japan restoration meeting

The Revolutionary Girl Utena movie was also very different from the series, and had a totally WTF ending. I will use mind-blowing in the sense that I had no idea what just happened.

well the story of "the end of evangelion" is the true ending of the series i think i worded that wrong XD. the series was ok the movie was just awesome, it was worth watching 26 episodes so i could understand what happens in the movie
 
This has probably been mentioned, but everybody should recognize Light's laugh from the last episode of Death Note. In Japanese, of course. I can't wait to see the English rendition this weekend.

I also like that one part in Naruto where Rock Lee is fighting Gaara, and knocks his head in with a kick. Gaara's one of my favorite characters, but he's arrogant in the beginning, so it was good to see him get knocked won a peg.
