Mario and pals make another "EA Sports" Cameo...

Well, its insulting for two reasons:

1) Every third party seems to think that GC owners will like the game simply because Mario's in it. A game should try to sell itself as a good game, not a decent game with a favorite mascot as a playable character.

2) Although it was "EA's decision" to do this Nintendo could have refused to let them do it. It just seems odd that Nintendo keeps talking about Sony and Microsoft whoring up the industry with un-innovative sequel after un-innovative sequel when they themselves are whoring out their own licenses to whoever has enough bling.

Its just selling out is what it is. Although I think Nintendo should sell out a bit (more mature games, even if their not the most innovative) they're selling out in the wrong way.

Well Ive been out of the loop for a while so I dont know about Nintendo talking about other systems not making un-inovative sequels and stuff, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. I guess to give Nintendo some credit on that statement, they arent making a bunch of sequels, just a bunch of different games with their characters in them. But I get your point. I didnt realize every third party has Nintendo characters in them. Soul Caliber did but they had special characters in all the systems. SSX I believe was already established as a good game on its own before this. So they are just adding a little extra more for the Nintendo version. I just personally don't see THIS game a sell-out in itself. The other games mentioned above I will agree on.

The GameCube verison of "SSX on Tour"....features Mario...Luigi...and Princess Toadstool...much like NBA Streets Vol. 3

Okay Mario...you're really milking the cash cow...

Yeah... cash cow, but it is cool, isn't it? :D I mean come on, you know you want these characters in other games :lol ... you know you do :)

And so Mario enters yet another sport.

It won't be long before the Decline series is right. Mario does the weekly shopping.

EXTREME IRONING!!
Pfft, Ironing wasn't Mario. And besides, Weekly Shopping pales in comparison to the awesomeness that is known as Mario Sets the VCR.
