$60.....   I will be TICKED OFF if Nintendo follows suit...

there is NO REASON for $60 games.  PERIOD!!! At least on a CD or DVD format.... Carts, I would pay for a more expensive game.

but hey.. at least we get downloads of Nintendo games free, eh? :lol

Nintendo needs money too...
I know man... just as bad as I do.... but I am just having a hard time with $60 games..... there is no justification for the price increase on disc (CD / DVD / HD-DVD ) games IMO.

They are cheap to manufacture.... technologies are making it cheaper and easier to develop games.... even though some production costs are more... in the long run, things should be cheaper to do.

Oh well.. it is probably a losing battle...

Here's some not-so-fine print. I doubt that these will be the actual prices. After all, the Rev is guarded better than government secrets.

Oh, you're worried about that?

I'm willing to bet that it won't be that much. GameStop's just trying to get pre-orders and they want to cover their butts just in case it actually is $59.99.

It's just a placeholder date and price. EBgames.com and Wal-Mart.com would probably do the same thing. You don't want to list a game at $49.99 and then have it be more, so you list it at the higher price and then if it ends up cheaper, the customer is like, "Awesome!"
