Tomb Raider Reboot

A brand new Tomb Raider, possibly for 360 and PS3 we're assuming is the story of how Lara Croft became the hardcore adventurer she is today! Nice take on an "X-Men Origins" style I will say.
 
Who cares why. This sounds great. :)
My dad's going to love this when it comes out too. He's a real Tomb Raider fan.
 
Looks interesting. Call me crazy, but I never actually played any of the previous Tomb Raider games (save for some demos here and there) -- are they were going back to try? If so, what are some of the better ones?

I recommend starting out with Tomb Raider: Anniversary, then Legends. After that you can just go anyway you'd like.
 
Yeah, Anniversary was really good. Not really indicative of the franchise as a whole though. The rest of the games were boring and/or glitchy.
 
I don't know about you guys, but one of the best things about the original Tomb Raider was climbing way the hell up on top of the tallest thing you could find and swan diving off. Hahaha. That was fun.
