Ipod Help

hey guys

i've got a ipod nano 8 gig, and i've tried to put videos onto it but when the videos uplod on the ipod they have no sound! can anybody help me? cause i have no idea what to do.
 
if i were to guess, i would say it was the format.....check to see what formats the ipod supports and what formats you have, and you may have to do some converting
 
Also, you say you converted them. You converted them to what format and what audio codec? Also, what software did you use?

i'm downloading them from limewire

i'm using itunes, i clicked on the video then click on an option called "convert selection for ipod/iphone", it converts then i add it but it has no sound.
 
It may have to be a certain video type even before you select "convert selection for ipod/iphone".....what format were they before?

their all MPEG-4 format.

the video setting for the ipod are just like widescreen etc... and for itunes i've look but can't find anything.
