if GTA goes online.... I'm buying it

It came out crappy because it wasnt done right. Of course if it's done right Im sure it will be fun and that was the point of Spartan's post.
 
I can see both sides of GTA going online good and bad. So imo if it goes online then it goes online if it doesnt then im not going to cry about it :'(

I dont think anyone is going to cry about it, gamers just want to get their hands on the new GTA regardless if its online or not. The game is just to popular.
 
Since the next instalment in the GTA series is already confirmed for the next consoles, you should start sending them e-mails telling you want it to be online. Who knows, maybe they listens? Some company actually do that, you know.

Pfft..I bet they're trying to figure out what to add in the next seris anyways, I can't think of anything else they can really do with this seris. :?
 
There is always something new to do. They could set the next one in the future (not to far though)

Or set it in the present time. Its not that hard to come up with a new story. Authors do it all the time :D
 
This is from a couple posts ago, but that would be really cool if some players were the cops and some players were running around trying to wreak havoc. I think that would be one of the ultimate online experiences. Getting chased by the cops in a stolen car where the cops are controlled by actual people. Speeding around corners trying to lose them, then getting out of the car, hopping fences, running down alleys, trying to escape on foot. And finally having a gunfight to determine whether or not you could escape. Man that would be fun...

You're a genious stealth. Thats a great idea. If I was a cop I would like to tackle the criminals and arrest them and drive them to jail. Then maybe some of his friends would show up and try to shoot up the car and free him.

25 to Life is like that...except it is more limited. I'm looking forward to it.
 
You guys should check out Crackdown. It's actually for the XBOX 360, but it's made by the same guy who did GTA III. I read about it in the October issue of Game Informer and it actually sounds really cool.
