Have You Played Any Game Where The Sequel Sucked?

hmmmmmm........sonic and the black knight was a terrible sequel for secret rings...sadly T_T

I prefered 2 over 3. Man I wish this series would get a revamp. It was truly one of my favorites on the PSX.

As for the sequels that sucked I would say Drakengaurd 2 was horrible. I kinda liked the first one though.

I liked Dark Mirror on PSP/PS2. Logan's Shadow I haven't played it.
 
In line with your question about Tekken 5, I'll bring the Tekken series into this.

I loved Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, and Tekken 5.

I thought that Tekken 4 was terrible. That was a sequel that sucked.

The same with Mega Man 7. I had liked the previous Nintendo installments of Mega Man, and even the SNES Mega Man X games. But, Mega Man 7 was terrible.
