Have things slowed down with the PSP?

There is some software out there for use with Mac's RnSKSoftronic's iPSP at kaisakura.com and Nullriver's PSP-ware at nullriver.com according to GamePro are both usefull.

I'm going to be getting one of these PSP's on Monday (or whenever FedEx decides to show up) and plan to use this software extensively.
