Sony is already rolling out the read carpet on this particular birthday with a special logo.

The beast that was born from the ashes of Nintendo's denial of creating a CD add-on and the fury of what one infamous Japanese company did that nobody else could which many historians have stated: "Make video games trendy."

Again, I never owned a PS1, but it was playing a friends PS1 that convinced me to buy my very first game console- A PS2, a couple months after its launch.

Also, why are there ducks in that logo...?

Super Rub a Dub on PSN was one of the first games on the PS3's download service. Plus, I THINK IT'S QUACKTASTIC! :D
 
I remember getting mine (which is rare for me to remember events and stuff). Don't remember what year it was though, but it was at Christmas and we were in the lower bedroom.
 
My first memory was on New Years Eve, my step-brother's friend brought it over and played Resident Evil. The following April for my birthday I got a Playstation with Final Fantasy VII.
 
I distinctly remember buying it at Best Buy a week after I got my N64 back in late '96. I bought it with NFL Quarterback Club '97 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Those were the days. Of course a few months later I was introduced to one of (my personal favorite) the best video game series of all time, Resident Evil. Followed shortly by Final Fantasy VII. Good times! :D

A got mine at a Toys-R-Us. They had another one of those specials, Ten 16-bit games and $99.00 will get you a PS1. I was in that line. PS1, Crash Banicoot, and Rige Racer clocked in a lot of hours. And all of those RPGs, is it raining? I feel mosture on my cheek, *choke*snif* :D
 
I remember my bro had it. All I ever played was Marvel Super Heroes. To bad he sold it :'(

Man I wanna play MSH now, playing MvC2 isn't the same
