Halo DS pitched to Bungie, but.....

It's a rumour that's been flying around the internet for some time but Bungie has finally admitted it's "very likely" another developer created a DS version of Halo. However, the dev said that there has "never been an officially funded or sanctioned development of any sort of DS Halo game" from Bungie.

Metroid Prime Hunters is basically Halo on DS, just with Metroid characters.

Halo on the DS just wouldn't work. The controls aren't right for FPS's.

If they made it 2D and modeled it after something like Metroid Fusion or Metroid Zero Mission, it could be pretty good.

I agree. Metroid Fusion is kind of forgotten, but its a great game, in the vein of classic Metroid games, so I would love to see that.

Ugg 2D side scroller... Halo RTS would be good, kinda like Halo Wars, but for the DS with Wi-Fi that would be sooo sweet! ( I thought the controls were fine for MP:H IMO)
