Today I got the letter from Activision.

Downside so far, it will take 3 to 4 weeks for you to get your game back and the game (DISC ONLY) will be shipped to them in a cheap cardboard envelope.

It's free, they pay for shipping, but no Guitar Hero 3 for Wii for a good while.

Positive side, a true surround sound edition of GH3 for Wii. I just hope it's not a beat up disc

Yes, but you have to order it first from Activision's site. Which is free as well.
