I've come to find that a lot of today's games are too focused on graphics and soundtracks.I also think that today's titles overdo it when it comes to features.I just feel that more thought was put into the storyline and playability of retro titles without jamming everything up overdoing it on features and graphics like today's do.Especially in RPG's.

Godspeed.

Blasphemy!! Blasphemy!!
I consider the 80s and 90s the "Golden Years" of video games. That is were I am spending all of my gaming time!

The games of the past had more arcade influence than today's games. Todays games has more of a computer gaming atmosphere about them. I guess I am referring to the complexity and design. Arcade gaming is my taste and passion.

When it comes to RPGs the SNES and the PS1 come to mind as the Kings of traditional RPGs.
