Mother only ever went to installment 1 over in the English speaking world with Japan (for some unexplained reason) choosing to keep subsequent installments to themselves.

*shakes head* First off, we got the second installment, though I suppose that was just awkward wording. Second, we did get the original Mother fully translated, Nintendo's just never felt the need to release it. Not to mention, they speak English in Europe and they didn't even get Mother 2.
