Gears of War 2: Game of the Year edition for $39.99 (all maps included!?)

Gears of War 2 GOTY edition

Gears of War 2 Game of the Year Edition.

The cogs of retail agree: a Gears of War 2: Game of the Year Edition will soon emerge. The package will allegedly bundle the full game with the $20 All Fronts retail compilation which includes the Flashback, Combustible, Dark Corners and Snowblind map packs along with the deleted "Road to Ruins" campaign chapter.

GameStop currently has the product listed at $40 while Amazon has it for $37; what they both agree on is that the GOTY edition has a September 1, 2009 release date. We're currently confirming the release date, price, and existence (!) of the GOTY edition with Microsoft and will update as soon as we hear back on our coms.

Is it any wonder why we even spend $60 on a new game, when crap like this keeps happening?
 
OH, hey buddy....I rarely buy expansions. I think my last expansion was Crysis Warhead 11 months ago. I know I bought Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold like 1 yr 1/2 ago!

My next expansion should be whatever Diablo 3 expansion is...because Diablo 2 is the 2nd best selling MMORPG after WOW. You cannot of lived on Battlenet without Lord of Destruction. Same true for Diablo 3.

OH Hey buddy...PC Games never have expansion price issues, Console games with expansions always charge.
 
OH hey buddy, expansions for consoles are pointless. You could buy a whole new used game for the same green! GoW GOTY is just prop to get before the US economy bombs again. Not saying capitalism is bad at all, I like capitalism...it's just common sense...not paying twice for a game I mean!

That's not common sense, when you're underhanded by a game company a year later.

In the United States, we call ourselves buddy, because we don't know their IQ is with 307 million people. We have the highest % of geniuses for any nation to population ratio. That's why we call everybody buddy. You probably see that top 5% daily somewhere multiple times...running into them....so us average joes say buddy TO STAY OUT OF THE JAIL OR SUED or ASYLUMS! Then there is the PUNCHY KIND THAT use fist over brawn too.
