Gamestop trade-in

I don't want any replies going, "Blah blah rip-off, Gamestop iz suxoz."

Now, anyways, Gamestop's doing a 'sale' where you trade in two 360/Wii/PS3 games, you get an extra $10 credit. I had plans to trade in Rock Band(I don't need it), as I need Kirby Superstar Ultra. Anyways, I was thinking TC: SO, as I'm assuming they don't have to be from the same system. Otherwises, I have choices like Oblivion(I can't even load my latest file without freezing) and...well, just that. So, which goes? Oblivion or Trauma Center?

Oblivion if it just freezes. I don't feel too ripped off with Gamestop. I got a great deal when I traded in Pokemon Ruby. ^_^

Well, the save from five minutes previous works just fine, I'd assume. So sans random freezing on load screens, specific saves, and Skingrad, along with the normal massive pop-in throughout the game and slow-down where I've mass-multiplied pumpkins(see; Fort Irony, plenty of inns), it's acceptable.

You'd think it's a given, but I don't play SO at all since I have the far superior(and on the better system) UtK2.

Well then, you can just trade in which you feel you wouldn't play more of.

Well, I could see myself playing both still. Oblivion's frustrating to play, and SO is good, but I have a superior 'version'.

Should trade in all three and grab a point card. >_>

Oh no, you're not getting away that easy, FHQ. As many times as you posted stupid crap as a reply or response to many people on THIS forum...you deserve this. It's mine turn now sucker.

GAMESTOP SUXORS! I'll post videos of how much they SUCK! Plus let me remind you how much they rape every consumer! so "MEH" to you buddy boy!

yes the deal for $10 extra is pretty slick, they did that with me when I picked up Lego Batman

Oblivion causing your saves to not load properly or the game freezes as soon as you load the file? If that's the case, then sounds like that file save could be corrupted.

Freezes at the same point while loading. The same thing happens to an assorted number of other saves(I save them all separately, which pays in this case), but it happens randomly on any loading screen I run into.

Weird indeed, what I would say, which is actually a drastic measure. Is to completely erase the game files and start over....I had this similar problem with Soul Calibur 3 when playing it on PS3. Kept saying the data is corrupted, when it really wasn't.

Makes me wonder what your Hard drive is doing to cause this, because you can't blame the disc.

Or maybe you can blame the disc. :D I actually had 1 blu-ray movie that would crash out my computer system :lol (yes, I have a Blu-Ray drive on my computer).

And why would you trade-in Trauma Center? I guess if you over played it I understand... I overplayed for awhile... then I got back to it... dropped it for awhile... then went back at it. Trauma Center is fun to revisit for some reason. Letting go of the glass pieces is morbid... but kind-of funny.

It is the harddrive. I tried my harddrive at my friend's house(and disc), and it still froze when I tried entering Skingrad, and random freezing throughout.

Does the PS3 have any Hard Drive testing utilities?

I haven't checked into it... but I would look into that.

That's the same problem my Oblivion had, but I had disc read errors along with the random freezing. So I COULD blame the disc.

I think so, but everytime you want to, it'll ask to reformat =/

Did you get to spike it before returning it?

Just don't break it... spike it on the carpet. Then return it... it gives good luck on future games.

I didn't return it, it was a couple years old by the time it completely ruined my 360's drive.

My Gamestop rules. Guess it's all about location :p

Same here. I talk to all the people who work at mine outside of work. I took my DS Lite which was broken into Gamestop the other day, and I traded it in. It didn't have the bar code or something on the back of the DS, so he took one off of another used one and put it on mine..lol so I could trade it in.
