without cheating.... without going back in time..... basically doing everything legitly .... I got my last fish.
Got the golden fishing rod as well :D

in fact, that Piranha (my last fish) wasn't hard to catch.

Now, why can't I get that snail?!

I'll give you mine. I can't play a game that I can't put down for a couple months. It becomes a chore, and that's just not fun when I have real chores I could be doing in that time.

yeah... you shouldn't have sold it :)

It is definitely one of the better games I have ever played..... and I know that sounds stupid.... it really is one of the best.... that coming from a 24 year old :lol

but in all seriousness. Its one that my wife and I can play.... along with our daughter.

The only thing that would make this game better would be split screen multiplayer OR MP via the broadband adaptor.

What do all of you think about $40 shipped for a brand new, sealed, Animal Crossing  w/ strategy guide?
I was thinking about buying one. :D
 
So, I was wondering would this Animal Crossing be pretty much a waste if I'd be the only person playing? As I understand it to fully experience the game you need multiple people playing the game at different times. It sounds like fun, but if it's crap playing it alone I won't bother.

thats not too bad... but I think last time I saw in stores the game was $25, right?

actually.... its great just playing it by yourself as well.
I haven't played it with too many other people (except the wife) and she doesn't play anymore... so... I have done most of it by myself :)

I just found out that Animal Crossing is coming to the UK in about October/November...awesome!

I am sure the game took FOREVER to translate. That is why it is taking so long to make it overseas.... If I am right, don't the game publishers make the game be in German, English, and a few other languages for Europe, etc?

Ya but still even for translating that is way to long, we don't normally wait a yr or so for games. Normally about 6 months or so prehaps a bit more.

Once you do, I think you'll see why it took friggin forever... plus to get all the grammatics (spelling?) right... as well as dialect (spelling).... I wouldn't want the job of doing that :D

No Blue, seriously...I heard that Nintendo had no plans what so ever to release AC to Europe. They must of given in to persuasion.
 
well... they found out there were enough people that wanted it.

heck, enough people want a game they'll make it.
They probably thought that it wasn't right for the region ....... thats how a lot of games go.
We (in the US) don't see a lot of the cool games in Japan because of this reason.

your more fortunate than we are tho, we don't get to see some of the games you do. Or like AM we have to wait yrs till they think it would be right for us....bloody annoying
