My favorite game when I was young was Resident Evil: Director's Cut. Now today, I would have to go with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for the Xbox 360. How bout the rest of you?

My favorite now is "Breath Of Fire III"(PS1)

Then: Contra, Sonic, and any Mario game for the NES.

Now: Legend of Dragoon, FFX, Destruction Racer: No Exit (My son and I play this together a lot).
